Barry Perlstein joined SDI in 1999 and became CEO in 2003. Prior to that, Barry was President of SDI Media USA. Prior to SDI, he was Vice President of Operations at Gelula & Company, a Los Angeles based subtitling provider. In that role, he oversaw the sale of Gelula to SDI in 1999. Prior to that, Barry was a management consultant with McKinsey & Company, focusing on strategy and operational improvement for media and financial institutions.
Barry graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with a degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics and magna cum laude from Harvard Law School where he was an editor of the Law Review.
